I have played golf off and on since I was 14 or 15. I was never able to play as much as I wanted. Somehow work seemed to get in the way. I could only play on weekends and the golf courses were always very crowded. In recent years I have started playing more, taken lessons, watched a lot more golf on TV, and read a lot about golf in magazines and on the internet.
To write an article I do a lot of research, rely on past history, and new experiences. I live in an area where I can play golf all year. It does get a little cold and rains most of the winter, but we do not get snow, only a few frost delays.
So look for stories in the winter about some rainy days and fun times. Also check out some of my links.

There are many golf courses in Las Vegas and if you are staying at a Casino they can usually set you up with a tee time at most courses. While there I would recommend seeing Cirque us Soleil. It is a great show and I have not heard of anyone that did not like the […]
Selecting the right golf ball is an integral part of the game. For golfers, choosing a ball that matches their playing style is the first step toward enhancing on-course performance. This assumes you know your playing style . This means you go to a golf shop where you can measure golf swing speed and know […]
When I was doing research for the history of the golf ball I ran across articles about the longest drive ever. I had never paid much attention to this question before. I knew there were several tours in pro golf and one is the long drivers. Today on the major PGA tournaments that I watch […]
