I have played golf off and on since I was 14 or 15. I was never able to play as much as I wanted. Somehow work seemed to get in the way. I could only play on weekends and the golf courses were always very crowded. In recent years I have started playing more, taken lessons, watched a lot more golf on TV, and read a lot about golf in magazines and on the internet.
To write an article I do a lot of research, rely on past history, and new experiences. I live in an area where I can play golf all year. It does get a little cold and rains most of the winter, but we do not get snow, only a few frost delays.
So look for stories in the winter about some rainy days and fun times. Also check out some of my links.

By Golfweek Staff What if Bernhard Langer had another go at that missed 6-footer watched ‘round the world at Kiawah Island in 1991? Or if Mark Calcavecchia had another shot at Colin Montgomerie, to whom he coughed up a 4-up lead that very same afternoon? And who wouldn’t want to see Fred Couples hitting another […]
